Maggie is a painter based in Dallas, Texas, whose vibrant, light-filled works reflect a deep reverence for the natural world and its Creator.  Originally from the foothills of South Carolina, Maggie’s artistic journey began in high school at The Fine Arts Center in Greenville, where she received foundational training in studio art.  She went on to study Fine Art and Art History at Presbyterian College, further developing her eye for composition, color, and the historical context of artistic movements.

Deeply inspired by the changing seasons and the quiet beauty of nature, Maggie draws much of her creative energy from the landscapes of her childhood and the ever-shifting light of early mornings and golden evenings. Her work is informed by the emotional depth of the Expressionists and the atmospheric sensibilities of the Impressionists, blending bold color palettes with a keen sensitivity to light and form.

Painting from her home studio or beneath the trees in her backyard, Maggie captures the fleeting magic of sunlight on earth and flora—an ongoing tribute to the beauty of God’s creation. Her pieces are known for their expressive brushwork, rich textures, and dynamic use of color.

Maggie lives in Highland Park, Texas, with her husband, their three children, and their beloved dog, Grover.
